She stepped on a rusty nail and didn't get a tetnus shot. She then got blood poisoning and was admitted to the hospital, but is now doing much better. There should be more info up on people.com

How is Lily-Rose Melody Depp (JD's daughter)doing, and what was wrong with her?
There were rumors going around that she had stepped on a rusty nail/tack and had then developed blood poisoning that had spread and started to affect her vital organs...however Johnny's people have come out and said that is not true, but have not said exactly what is wrong with her other than she has been suffering from a serious condition for the past 9 days...she's been in a London hospital since Feb. 28 but as of today she is doing much better and is on the mends...Johnny hasn't left her side and his film "Sweeney Todd" that he is in London to film right now is suppose to start filming next week but they are going to start filming the scenes that do not involve him so that he can be with his daughter...I'm so glad she is doing better...he would be absolutely crushed if anything happened to her.

JOHNNY Depp's ill daughter finally left hospital last night after nine days.





The star said Lily-Rose, seven, was now "doing much better".





Johnny, 43, carried her from the London hospital to a car.





The pair, along with Lily-Rose's mum Vanessa Paradis, 34, and brother Jack, five, then headed for their hotel in the capital.





One onlooker said: "Johnny and Vanessa looked exhausted."





But a spokesman for the Pirates of the Caribbean hero said: "We are happy to report their daughter is doing much better.





"The family greatly appreciates the continued support."





Johnny is currently filming Sweeney Todd.





Movie studio Dreamworks said: "We've adjusted his schedule to fit in with his needs. Everybody's with them in good spirits."
