Why james and lily potter buried next to kendra and arianna dumbledore wots the connection?

I think there's nothing more to this other than they all died in Goderick's Hollow. Remember, the Dumbledore's moved there later on, they didn't start out living there.

they all lived and died in godric's hollow, that is the only connection.
Reply:Do you mean "what's the connection" - work on your grammer and use spell check. It's annoying.
Reply:They weren't next to them, they were two rows over. It was a small cemetery in a small village, everyone was buried near each other.
Reply:No reason or if there is then it doesn't say.
Reply:It says a few times in the books, that there are only so many magical communities in Britain. Godric's Hollow being one of them. All magical families are inter-related someway, I actually thought that Dumbledore would turn out to be Harry's great-grandfather or something! However I think that the only connection to the Dumbledore's would be that they happened to share a village with the Potter's, and thats how they managed to be involved with the Order.
Reply:Because James and Lily lived and died at the Godric's Hallow. And Dumbledores also lived at the Godric's Hallows.

They are buried near because they lived at he same place.
Reply:They lived in the same community - Godric's Hollow. Whether the families had any closer connection has not been stated, but elsewhere there's mention that most of the old wizarding families had intermarried to some extent.
Reply:They all lived in the same town.
