Lily-ella 4a girl? wot do u think?
I'm calling my baby girl Caitlin Lily - Ella.. I Love it i wanted it as a first name ( after my nan also..) but my partner really wanted Caitlin, so we have compromised.. Now i really love the name.. Good Luck xxx

Who cares what we think shes your baby call her what you will.. xx
Reply:No.

Lilly Grace

Reply:im not to fond of it either! i just never did care much for lily. sorry. i do have a niece named dawn ella if that helps!! i think it is a pretty name!! if you come up with more names send them on to us!!
Reply:Sorry I don't like it. I like Ella, but not Lily-Ella
Reply:so gorgeous, very adorable. go for it!
Reply:thats really feminine and pretty

i do like it..

and hey even if i didnt - and you did... thats all that matters...

no one liked my sons name - now they all love him to death and cannot imagine him being anyone else but - HAMZA :)
Reply:nice baby name but will sound silly as an adult
Reply:Its too many "L's" together.

I think thats the problem.
Reply:Its a bit of a mouthful together and very 'rhymy' but not alltogether bad. I've heard worse! Funny thing is a friend of mine has 3 daughters, two of which are named Lily and Ella! (the third is Tannah)

I wouldn't hyphenate it I would either go with Lily or Ella as the proper first name. Like Ella Lillian or something like that.
Reply:Melanie Blatt from All Saints called her daughter that too. I'm not keen, but it's your baby.
Reply:Too many "els" to pronounce. Also a bit "sing-songy".
Reply:It sounds a bit over the top, too many Ls I think. Just pick one or the other. Other names beginning with Lily are quite nice, pick a second name that only has one syllable, like Ann or Jane or something.

Hope this helps! xxx
Reply:No I dont like it either. Might be OK for a little girl, but when older, ugh. Lilian would be better.
Reply:I think its really pretty. I like Lilly Eva/ Ava as well.
Reply:Why dont you try Lilia?
Reply:yes i really like it. Rolls off the tounge very easily and is very feminine to. very nice
Reply:IMO - I'm not overly fond of it. As others have said, too many LLLL's.

If your "man" must have Lily in the name you might think along the lines of what my sister did. She selected a name she liked for the first name, used my mom's name, and then her MIL name. So Victoria Evelyn Elizabeth was born--quite unique.

You might think along the lines of Ella "...?...." Lily. The ? could be your grandmothers name (or mom's name).
Reply:Steven Gerrard copy?
Reply:Lily Ella flows so well. It is such a light name and the way the "y" and "e" sort of blend, you don't have to stop to get the "El" to sound right. What a nice sound. So gentle; I could imagine it for any age. Small child, teenager, adult, old lady...! Veryveryvery CUTE!! but not overbearingly so. :D
Reply:Lily-Ella is pretty, very pretty infact, but most people will call her Lily for shorl.

Lily-Ella Mae or Lily-Ella Marie is pretty!
Reply:Elleanor Lily...call her Ella or Ellie

don't make her first name lily Ella it sounds to much and is OK for a baby but a 30yr old ?
Reply:I like it, very pretty and feminine.
Reply:i like ella and lily but not together sorry.
Reply:My niece is named Lily, so I am a bit partial.

Ella is pretty, too, but very commonly used.

I don't care for them together though.
Reply:i like it
Reply:I like Lily-Ella, but I can kind of understand why some people wouldn't. It's a bit of a mouthfull wih all the 'l's in it.
Reply:I think it sounds lovely.
Reply:i love it i think its a wicked name go for it

i worry bout wot people say 2 im 37 weeks pregnant wit my 2nd boy and dunno wot 2 cal him wen i think of a name someone always says thats horrible or u cant call him that so dont listen to anyone but yourself. LILY-ELLA is lovely.
Reply:i think its lovely, my mum was called lily its a very popular name now and shel just get lily anyway and you could make up some cute songs and nicknames that will drive her insane when shes older lol, call her what you want dont listen to what anyone else thinks, if they say anything say youve changed your mind and going to call her parsnip-moonbeam, theyl soon come round to lily-ella, or you could mix it together and call her lilyelle.thats nicex
Reply:i think its a really pretty name
Reply:i love names that both end in vowel sounds. i think Lily Ella is very pretty, but don't use the dash. if i have a girl, i'm naming her Ella Sophia.
