How can I get out a stain from tiger lily pollen?

My husband bought me some gorgeous tiger lilies, unfortunately he set them on the seat of my car and the pollen stained the seat orange. What can I use to get this out and not ruin my cloth seats?

Good luck....that stuff is horrible. It is actually used as a natural dye so lots of luck. As with any stain, try your regular stain removers (spray %26amp; wash, tide 2 go, etc.) Make sure each time you try something that you let it dry between any new attampts to get it clean. Also try Resolve carpet cleaner. I have found that works on almost anything. Buy the type for pet stain remover. The pharmacist at my local store (go figure) told me that if a cleaner will get out pet stains, it will pretty much get out ANY stain. And so far she has been right. Lots of luck.
Reply:This is actually pretty amazing, but allowing sunlight to reach the stain will remove it completely. I am a floral designer, so we are forever getting lily pollen on our clothes. This works perfectly, provided you can get direct sunlight into the area that has been stained. The other option is to use a NYLON heavy-bristled brush (hairbrush or small dustpan broom) and briskly brush at the pollen. Whatever is left after that should come out with the sunlight trick.
Reply:wash them with gain laundry detergent it works like a charm and out some dawn dish soap on the spot it gets rid of any stain.
