I live in the desert where summer tempuratures can reach at least 115 degrees!

Is it a peace lily? Thier popular this time of year, and really easy to grow, normally. I keep mine as house plants, I live in a really cool dry climate. Where you are living with such high summer temperature's, I would be careful putting it outdoors. If you do, make sure it is in a shady spot all day. Under a patio, or something like that...Make sure to give them plenty of water. Mine take alot of water, we use a wood burner in the winter, and it get's really dry, so have to water them, quite often. Also you can mist or spray them with water, to help give them some humidity. But don't water them in the hottest part of the day, especially if you have them outside.

If you keep them indoor's, they like indirect sunlight. Not in a window that the sun will come barreling in, but where they still get a sufficient amount.

Good Luck, their pretty little plants, that can keep giving flowers now and then if your lucky. I have two of them. I've had one to give me flower's again since I got it. But the other one still hasn't. :)

Make sure when you transplant you give it a good amount of drainage, and some decent soil :)
Reply:I'm not sure that Lily plants can stand that temperature, but if you have a covered patio, you can plant it in a large pot/

The larger the better, if you didn't know, Lilies do multiply, and will grow for you.

I would suggest a plastic container, as they don't leach out the water as fast, and being of a large size, you won't need to water as often.
Reply:Look at the little plastic doo hickey that came in the plant. The back of it should have some instructions. If not, try www.ask.com and it will answer anything you ever wanted to know and more. Good luck.
Reply:u are doomed baby, sorry
Reply:water it
Reply:Lily's are hardy popular house plants and they do great in shady inside situations. It should be OK in the desert as long as it does not get direct sunlight. They like to be watered regurally, but don't over water.
