Ok - I see I'm late to the party and that someone has already beaten me to that one.


So...boring answer...in all likelihood their convictions would not have a bearing on their admisibilty to the UK as visitors. So far as employment is concerned they would be subject to the ordinary work permit/visa scheme and would be required to list convictions as part of the process. Failure to declare could lead to a charge of illegal entry.

Personally I couldn't give a tuppeny stuff what the immigration folks do with say Paris.


Anyway, the Hilton in Paris has been sold, so bang goes that one. I would not deny her access to the UK, as then she will receive the full ridicule of the media duly deserved.
