Some of my peace lily leaves are brown around the edges. should I cut off edges or entire leaf.?

There can be several reasons for the edges going brown on the peace lily. First it can be just natural dying of the leaf which will go all brown and fall off. But I am suspecting it is from the salt in your water. Plants some times will not tolerate city water for the chemicals in them and salt is a culprit to say the least. You can try collecting rain water and storing it in a gallon jug. You also can trim off the brown edges with out doing a whole lot of harm to the plant. Keep in mind tropical plants like fertilizer too. I would do it about 1/2 rate. Enjoy your plant most of all and yes talk to it.

I usually just cut off the brown part, unless the stem is a pale yellow colour, which means nutrients aren't reaching the leaf.

The secret ot peace lilies (spathiphyllum) is to pour coffee grounds on their soil about once a week. I also pour my cold coffee on them occasionally and it seem sto make them grow. I have some in my office that are thriving!
