Reply:Yes. Thats a beautiful name...very elegant and classic sounding, yet somewhat exotic sounding too, and its very unique. You could call her Eva, Evie, Angel, Angie, Vanna...for short. So it has the elegance for an adult but cute nicknames for a child. I also like Lily as the middle name...I wouldnt normally think of that with it but it flows nice.

Reply:Separately, they're both lovely. But I wouldn't use a combination that is literally the name of arguably the most well-known reference for such a lovely, underused given name -- that being Lost's Evangeline Lilly, of course. ;)





I could understand if Lily was especially significant (the name of a beloved grandmother, for instance), but if it's simply a combo you thought sounded nice, I'd likely look for something equally appealing that doesn't happen to carry the same pop culture reference.





Evangeline is a wonderful choice, however. I just wouldn't pair the two. ;)
Reply:Yes I do, but that is the name of the girl on Lost. I have always loved the name Evangeline, but always had trouble coming up with a middle name for it and then I heard Evangeline Lilly's name and I though wow that sounds great together!
